Brighton Assembly of Egalitarians (BAE) (I suggest this name because it describes what we actually are, and promotes a discussion, with people who hear about us, of our aim to be the sovereign law-making body for Brighton with the enlarged membership of Brighton's thousands of egalitarians, like these people.

* As I have written in Egalitarian Values & Principles Summarized, the membership of local assemblies of egalitarians is open to all adult egalitarians who live or work in the local community, and in the document it summarizes I also wrote "The Assembly may on occasion invite individuals who do not live or work in the local community to be non-voting members of the Assembly." Since the Brighton Assembly of Egalitarians (or whatever we call it now) is not yet the sovereign law-making body for Brighton, and since neighboring local communities do not yet have their own local assemblies, I think it makes sense for us to include members no matter where they live because we need all the help we can get, and eventually non-Brighton members will have their own local assemblies to join instead of the Brighton assembly.
