I think you will really enjoy my Substack (free to subscribe) post today, with a video and a mainstream article, about what some wonderful people did a while back in a Mexican town. My post's title (click on it to read it) is "Mexicans in the Town of Cheran Proved that a Better, Egalitarian, World Is Possible. A world without a predator class of rich drug lords and politicians and Big $ oppressors, and with genuine democracy. We can do this too, you know!"

Hi my 51 Brighton CVS-ville neighbors,

 

Yesterday's Brookline News has an article headlined, "At Brookline event, Attorney General Campbell, organizers urge community action against immigration enforcement."

 

The organizations reported on in this article pretend to be opposing the cruel deportations of illegal immigrants. But they are not doing so. They do not do what is required to stop these cruel deportations. They do not refute the Big Lie about illegal immigrants that the ruling class (both its liberal and conservative wings) uses to persuade (as I spell out below) about half of Americans that the morally right thing is to deport the illegal immigrants even if that is sometimes cruel. It is only by persuading about half of Americans to support the deportations that the government can get away with doing them.

 

Here is the Big Lie about illegal immigrants that Attorney General Campbell and Brookline for Racial Justice and Equity, La Colaborativa, Fuerza, Lawyers for Civil Rights and LUCE Immigrant Justice Network of MA refuse to refute.

 

The Big Lie says that the reason there is a massive wave of illegal immigrants is because the following view of the illegal immigrants is true:

 

  • The illegal immigrants see that we have a good country to live in here in the USA and they live in a country that’s a bad one to live in, and so instead of working to make their own country good they want to just move to and live in the United States and enjoy the fruits of all the labor of Americans that has made our country so good to live in.

     

  • In other words, the illegal immigrants want to enjoy the fruits of others’ labor without contributing themselves.

     

  • The illegal immigrants are thus essentially freeloaders.

     

  • The illegal immigrants, by entering the United States illegally instead of going through the steps to enter legally, are like people who cut in line. They are people who say, “The rules don’t apply to me.”

     

  • The illegal immigrants have “anchor babies” to game the system. It’s fraud. Birthright citizenship was meant for babies born to parents who are in the United States legally, not illegally.

     

  • The illegal immigrants are just plain bad people even if they don’t break any other law than the immigration law.

     

  • And on top of everything else, the illegal immigrants drive down American citizens’ wages and force municipalities to spend scarce money on their needs instead of those of American citizens.

     

The truth about the illegal immigrants, however, is totally different.

 

The truth is that the illegal immigrants are mainly people whom our billionaire rulers have FORCED to enter the United States illegally just in order to survive. The truth is that for many decades our billionaire rulers (using both political party administrations) have been doing things south of our border and in Haiti deliberately to force poor people there to have to flee and illegally enter the United States illegally just in order to survive. (Some liberal "anti-deportation" organizations do tell the truth about illegal immigrants being less criminal than American citizens, but they never tell the truth about WHY there are so many illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants are LESS criminal than U.S. citizens. Please read “Debunking the Myth that Illegal Immigrants Are More Criminal than U.S. Citizens: It's fine to deport dangerous criminals who are illegal immigrants, but it's wrong to stigmatize illegal immigrants in general as criminals; they're less criminal than U.S. citizens.”)

 

This truth about WHY there are so many illegal immigrants is totally censored! Here’s why.

When people (including those who initially support the deportations) learn the truth, what happens?

 

  • They are shocked.

     

  • They are ANGRY—at our billionaire rulers.

     

  • They are sympathetic to the illegal immigrants.

     

  • They understand (especially when it is pointed out) that the people who MOST want to stop our billionaire rulers from forcing massive numbers of people to illegally immigrate to the United States are the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS THEMSELVES.

     

  • They see the sense of allying WITH the illegal immigrants against our oppressive billionaire rulers (who use the illegal immigrants as cheap labor and as a scapegoat to deflect proper anger at the billionaires, who treat us all like dirt, onto the illegal immigrants instead.)

     

  • They no longer think it is right to treat illegal immigrants like dirt by deporting them.

     

Were this to happen on a large scale the result would be CATASTROPHIC for the ruling billionaire plutocracy. About 90% of the have-nots would oppose the deportations and be furious at the billionaires of both political parties.

 

The billionaires’ divide-and-rule strategy (pitting the have-nots opposed to deportations against those who support them) would blow up in their faces.

 

When liberal "anti-deportation" organizations refuse to refute the Big Lie and instead only complain that the deportations are cruel, what happens? When supporters of the deportations hear these liberal arguments, the effect is to make them be even more sure that they are right in supporting the deportations since those opposed to them have no persuasive argument to make.

 

This is how these kinds of liberal organizations help the ruling class pit about half of Americans against the other half, for divide-and-rule.

 

Liberals who listen to these liberal “anti-ICE” organizations typically have no clue that they are hearing propaganda that works in harmony with—for the same purpose as—the conservative pro-ICE articles, to serve the ruling billionaire class. They think they are hearing “the other side”—the anti-Trump side. This is how sophisticated propaganda works; it relies on censorship of the key truth in order to create a misleading and divisive framework for understanding an issue, a framework that will cause one half of the population to take one side and the other half the other side, with each half viewing the other with fear and loathing.

 

Notice that these liberal "anti-ICE" organizations* are funded by the government, which is why they dare not identify the ruling billionaire plutocracy (which controls the government) as the problem, nor to they even HINT that the solution is to remove the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor.

 

By helping the ruling class censor the Big Truth about why there are so many illegal immigrants, liberal "anti-ICE" organizations like the ones that held a fund raiser in Brookline are part of the problem, not the solution.

Here is what I posted yesterday on my free-to-subscribe Substack:

 

More Unjust Wars, Now On Venezuela & Iran, Are On the Way from Donald "the Peace President" Trump:

Like the earlier ones, these will be wars against bogeyman enemies for the purpose of controlling us, the have-nots

 

All the indications** are that Donald Trump will launch a war against Venezuela soon. And that Trump will join with Israel in attacking Iran again soon after attacking Venezuela.

 

Neither Venezuela nor Iran have attacked or are even preparing to attack the United States. The newly-named U.S. Department of War is aptly named now because it was never primarily about defending us; not even in World War II, about which I wrote an entire book, free to read online here (PDF) and available from Amazon here.

 

These new upcoming wars, like all the earlier U.S. wars (going waaaay back), are wars against bogeyman enemies for the purpose of controlling us, the have-nots, so that it will be easier for the very rich to treat us like dirt and get rich off of our labor. I invite you to read the EXTENSIVE proof for this assertion in my long article here, which is about how the rich oppressive classes (including the American billionaire ruling class in recent decades) have been using wars against bogeyman enemies for millennia all over the world to control “their own” have-nots.

 

These wars enable the ruling class to declare any domestic resistance to their oppression to be “unpatriotic” and “aiding and abetting the enemy.” (These wars also, of course, enable the owners of the weapons industries to make a fortune at the tax-payers’ expense selling their weapons to the government for sky-high prices. And some of these wars enrich those capitalists who acquire control of resources such as oil in the ‘enemy’ nation; is it a coincidence that both Iran and Venezuela have huge oil deposits?)

 

As I discuss in my articles here (about Israel) and here (about Iran), the rulers of these nations use war against a bogeyman enemy to get away with oppressing “their own” have-nots. This is something virtually all oppressive ruling classes do, now and in the past.

 

Let’s discuss what’s going on with our friends and neighbors and relatives, so that these new wars don’t put us on the defensive when our rulers declare that anybody who doesn’t support them in wartime is unpatriotic.

Trump and Netanyahu’s failed attempt to use covert methods to kill all of the Iranian leaders, followed by their recent failed attempt to use overt Air Force bombers to eliminate Iran’s ability to enrich uranium, and their continuing war rhetoric against Iran indicate that they intend to re-start the war against Iran and “finish the job” before too long.

You are invited to join me Friday the 17th at the Mirror Restaurant (362 Washington St, at Market St.) at 2 PM to chat about the "remove the rich from power" idea.

 

A person I ran into today at the CVS (who receives these emails) told me he was fearful about meeting me at the Mirror Restaurant because of the recent threats Trump has made against people who are opposed to capitalism. I wrote about this in my recent free-to-subscribe Substack, the title of which is "What Should We Egalitarian Anti-Capitalists Do Now that Trump Has Virtually Declared Us to Be Terrorists in His September 25 Presidential Memorandum? I am going to keep doing what I have been doing: building the egalitarian revolutionary movement."  After you read this I ask you to decide if you will let Trump's threats make you be careful, or be politically paralyzed; there's a big difference.

 

The reason I think we should not let these threats paralyze us is what I wrote about in my other Substack post titled, "Yes! It Is Difficult to Remove the Rich from Power and It Will Likely Take a Long Time. No! That Is Not a Persuasive Reason for Only Doing Things that CANNOT EVER Remove the Rich from Power. Let's think carefully about what moral people today should do, given the reality of the world we live in."

Hi my 59 Brighton CVS-ville neighbors,*

 

Last Friday four of us met at the Mirror Cafe and we had a terrific conversation about removing the rich from power and egalitarianism. At the end of the hour and a half conversation we decided to constitute ourselves as an organization for the goal of removing the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor. We also decided to meet monthly on a Sunday afternoon, with details still to be worked out. I consider this an historically very significant and important event, for the reasons I wrote about (before Friday!) here.

 

While conversing in the Mirror Cafe, I showed the others the 10 foot long banner with the 500 photos of individuals--all in Brighton--displaying a sign saying they want affordable housing for all and to get it they aim to remove the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor (see a photo of the banner here.) The two women who run the Mirror Cafe loved the banner! (There were no other customers near us at this time.)

 

Yesterday I went to the 'No Kings' demo at the Boston Common. I wore the "Let's Remove the Rich from Power..." sign and passed out about 300 of the stickers to people as they were streaming from the Park St. station exit towards the demo speakers. The stickers flew out of my hands! People loved the message, as I knew they would and as I wrote about (before the day of the demo) here.

 

Virtually all of the signs people displayed were based on the false idea--the idea that the ruling class and in particular the Democratic Party and liberal media promote--that the United States was a genuine democracy until Trump got into the Oval Office. As I have written about here and here and here, this is simply false.

 

Most people know that we have been living in a dictatorship of the rich and not a genuine democracy. But most people do not currently have the ability to articulate what they know because the truth is censored and instead all we ever see or read are ruling-class-approved slogans and themes ("defend our democracy"). When people, however, SEE the truth stated clearly, like on the sticker, they say, "Yes!" and "I agree!" and so forth, which is what I experienced over and over at the 'No Kings' demo.
