HOW THE AMAZON LABOR UNION CAN GAIN MUCH MORE SUPPORT

The newly formed Amazon Labor Union* (ALU) is one of the most inspiring recent developments in the history of labor's fight against Big $ capital. Against the enormous anti-union repression and efforts of Jeff Bezos to prevent workers at Amazon from forming a union, they did it anyway. BRAVO!
The ALU has, and deserves, the support of millions of people who know very well how the rich treat working class people like dirt.
This article is about how the ALU can turn that support from merely the passive good wishes of the general public into something far better: wildly enthusiastic and committed support.
The ALU can do this if it declares explicitly that its aim is not only to gain better wages and working conditions for Amazon workers but also to strengthen the larger movement to remove the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor--what I call egalitarian revolution and describe here. This goal is actually what most people--most Amazon workers and also most working class people (no matter for whom they vote!)--would absolutely love, as I show here.
The reason why Amazon workers want better wages and working conditions is because those reforms make our society be a little bit closer to being fully egalitarian, which is what people want most of all.
Until the ALU declares that its aim is to make our society fully egalitarian, with no rich and no poor and with real, not fake, democracy, people will not have a reason to be wildly enthusiastic and committed in supporting the ALU; they will be merely passively in support of it.
But when the ALU tells the public that its aim is the wonderful one of egalitarian revolution, it will gain enormously enthusiastic and committed support even from people who don't have any particular concern for the wages and working conditions of Amazon workers.
Here's a video (2nd half) of me asking random people on the streets of Boston if they would support an organization more, or less, if it advocated removing the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor. Almost all said they'd support it MORE! As seen in this similar video, the huge majority of random people on the street say they think it is a GOOD, not bad, idea to remove the rich from power to have real, not fake, democracy with no rich and no poor.
