GET INVOLVED

If you agree with "This I Believe" then all you need to do to start getting involved in this vital (read why here) signature campaign is simple: just sign it!
How do you sign it? There are two easy ways. You can print a copy (click here), add your signature, and mail it to us at PDR, PO Box 35222, Boston, MA, 02135, USA. Or you can sign online by clicking here.
But to really get involved you'll want to collect signatures from other people too--your friends and relatives, neighbors and co-workers. And then you can show them they are not alone in having these revolutionary aspirations by showing them all the signatures. We make banners like this one (click here for a zoomable pdf file to see some signatures) and display them to the public.
But why stop with just people you already know? Here in Boston we collect signatures on the sidewalk and in front of supermarkets from people just passing by or grocery shopping. We have found that of the people who stop to read "This I Believe," about 80% sign it. Click here to see some photos of how we do it and click here to read personal stories.
TALK WITH US, AND OTHERS IN YOUR AREA
It's more fun to join with others in your neck of the woods to make plans or just share ideas about how to collect signatures from a majority of people living there. To help you do this, we have set up an email group (click here to see how to subscribe), a Facebook group (click here to go to it) and a web forum (click here to go to it), organized by geographical region within the United States.
You are hereby encouraged, as an individual or as a group of people in any organization you may choose to create, to do whatever you think helps advance the cause of helping people see that they are not alone in wanting an egalitarian revolution. We encourage you to use our button and/or collect signatures for "This I Believe" and display them to the public. Use your imagination. Use trial and error. Share your experiences--both good and not so good--with others on the email list or web forum so that others can copy the best ideas. You do not need, nor should you request, permission from anybody to do anything; just do it. Only please do not claim to represent other individuals or organizations without their permission.

JOIN YOUR LOCAL ASSEMBLY OF EGALITARIANS OR START ONE IF ONE DOESN'T ALREADY EXIST
